Petra Kvitová is a tennis player at the top of her game.
The Czech player has been a tough competitor in numerous tennis tournaments since she went professional at the age of sixteen, in 2006.
Ms. Kvitová has won 27 career singles titles, two of which are Grand Slam titles, such as victories at Wimbledon in 2011 and in 2014. She also won the U.S. Open championship in 2012 and earned a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Ms. Kvitová was ranked second overall in the world among female tennis players in 2011, and as of March 2020, she is ranked twelfth by the Women's Tennis Association.
