Claire Falknor is a female soccer player from Ohio who's more visible in professional than national competition.
While she did play for the United States national team for players under 23 for the 2015 Four Nations Tournament in Norway (playing in two of the three matches), she's best known for her playing on league teams, mainly in Europe. She played for Bayern Munich in 2016, and she's been with EDF Logroño in Spain since July 2018. In between, in 2017 and early 2018. she played with the Houston Dash in the U.S.
Fun fact: Ms. Falknor graduated from Centerville High School in Ohio (in 2012), just like an earlier honoree on this blog, Nancy Dutiel (class of 1971).
