TV weatherwoman Maria LaRosa

Maria La Rosa is a morning co-host of The Weather Channel, co-hosting two weekday shows with Stephanie Abrams and Mike Bettes - "Wake Up With Al" (including Al Roker, the "Al" of the show's name) and "Morning Rush." All told, she's on the air from 5:30 AM to 10 AM, Eastern time, Monday through Friday.

Before joining The Weather Channel in 2010, the New Jersey-raised Maria LaRosa worked as a weather forecaster for local TV stations, including KYW-TV in Philadelphia and WTVM-TV in Columbus, Georgia.

Fun fact: She also worked at WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, which broadcasts on . . . Channel 19.  Get it? (In case you don't, "XIX" is the Roman numeral for 19.  :-p )
