Broadcast journalist Tamara Keith

Tamara Keith is a leading correspondent on National Public Radio.

She actually got her start in radio as a teen essayist for the public radio network, graduating from high school early and getting a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley in three years before enrolling in journalism school at UC Berkeley at the age of nineteen, graduating with a journalism master's degree.  (Quite an overachiever! 😊)

In addition to being on the board of the White House Correspondents' Association and serving as its president, Ms. Keith has appeared on television to comment on politics, most notably on the PBS NewsHour.  She and Amy Walter appeared on that program to discuss politics every Monday until the end of 2022, when their segment was terminated.

Among the NPR radio stations that Ms. Keith has worked for KQED-FM in San Francisco,  WOSU-FM in Columbus, Ohio and KPCC-FM in Los Angeles.
