Melanie Zanona is a Capitol Hill reporter from CNN.
Prior to joining CNN, she had been a congressional reporter for The Hill and a policy reporter for Congressional Quarterly, in addition to having contributed on-air interviews for all three cable-news channels, along with CNBC.
Originally from Chicago, Ms. Zanona graduated from the University of Illinois and still follows her favorite Chicago sports teams despite living in Washington.
