Actress Rochelle Aytes

Rochelle Aytes is an actress who has appeared in numerous TV shows, mainly in guest roles.

She was part of the cast of the  drama series "The Forgotten," which aired in the 2009-10 season.  On that show, she played Grace Russell, a detective who joins a volunteer group to  solve cases of murder victims who have not been identified.  She also had a recurring role in the  police drama series "Detroit 1-8-7" as prosecutor Alice Williams,but her character was murdered in an episode aired in early 2011.  Later that year, Ms. Aytes guest played Amber James, the former girlfriend of Keith Watson, in the series "Desperate Housewives" in three episodes.

Ms. Aytes' biggest role so far has been as April Malloy in "Mistresses," a TV drama series about four women who are friends with each other and are involved in illicit affairs.  The series ran for three years beginning in 2013.  April was a widowed single mother who owned a home furnishings boutique.

Fun fact:  All of the TV series mentioned above aired on ABC.
