TV actress Caitlin Thompson

Caitline Thompson is a television actress who has made big splash of late.

She plays Madison Simons on "This Is Us," the NBC series about a Pittsburgh family, the Pearsons, and their ups and downs.  Madison is a friend of Kate Pearson (played by Chrissy Metz), whose fraternal twin brother Kevin (Justin Hartley) is a famous actor.  Madison ends up having an affair with Kevin that produces twin children.  They plan to marry but Madison backs out when she's convinced that Kevin doesn't love her enough.

As it so happens, Caitlin Thompson is married in real life - to "This Is Us" creator and producer Dan Fogelman.
