No one did close-ups like Sheila Johnson.
And the one above, from the cover of the September 1983 issue of Ebony, is practically stunning. She just seems to look straight through you thorough the magic of the camera.
She also did sweetness very well up close, as in this picture from a Noxzema ad.
Of course, she could look warmly at the casual observer with just a little bit of whimsy . . .
. . . and her smile was - no, is - always infectious!
