Kate Abdo covers the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) soccer league for CBS Sports in America, having come to the Tiffany network on the heels of a very internationally esteemed career.
Originally from Manchester, England, she began her broadcasting career with the German international news network Deutsche Welle, where she covered sports for the network's English- and German-language services, later joining CNN to host the "World Sports" program. She later covered soccer for Fox Sports and TNT.
She remains based in Britain despite her employment for an American network.
