Despite my concentration on ballet dancers, I managed to find a modern dancer to include this year. Meet Miranda Quinn, a fresh-faced young woman who has been with the esteemed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater for just a year now at this writing (that is, since 2019).
Ms. Quinn grew up in Baltimore and trained there as a dancer in different genres. She took it up a notch by attending The Juilliard School. She joined the Ailey company the same year she graduated form Juilliard, so you can expect Ms. Quinn o be a distinguished member of the company going forward!
Ms. Quinn's non-Ailey credits include associations with Springboard Danse Montréal and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Summer Intensives.
