Back in June 2018, I featured this hilarious actress in a hilarious Dewey Stevens wine-cooler commercial telling a story and using weird but uproariously funny sound effects to illustrate it. At the time, I couldn't identify her, but thanks to someone who saw the commercial, which I uploaded on my YouTube page, I now know who she is.
She is Lois Bromfield, a Canadian-born American stand-up comedian and actress known for her over-the-top tales with accompanying sonic illustrations. In addition to her stand-up act, she's been a consulting producer for sitcoms such as "The Drew Carey Show" and "Grace Under Fire," and she gave a really wild description of a fictional horror movie in a skit on former Monkees singer-songwriter Michael Nesmith's show "Television Parts."
Here is a link to another video showing one of her very unique stand-up routines on a TV variety show with a little joking around with the show' host.
Thanks to Heather Farquhar, who identified her from the Dewey Stevens ad after seeing it on my YouTube channel.
But that's not all. I have another ID for a model whose picture I (re)posted just last week! An ironically anonymous commenter identified her as Lisa Rutledge, a model from Australia. A black-and-white photo from her portfolio is below.
Ms. Rutledge was so inspired by the photographers she posed for that, when she returned to Australia, she became a photographer herself. She photographs people - headshots, portraits, wedding parties, and so many other sorts of people pictures. You can check out her work at her Web site.
Back soon in the new month of October with new subjects.
