The Beauty of Sport, Part Five: Naomi Osaka

Japan's Naomi Osaka is a building star on the tennis court whose career is blossoming quite nicely.

Having debuted on the professional circuit in 2015, she quickly rose to the upper echelon of women's tennis, winning the 2018 U.S. Open and the 2019 U.S. Open and proving to be especially competitive at the 2019 Wimbledon tournament.  Alas, the 2020 coronavirus pandemic has, at this writing, disabled her - like everyone else - from competition, but at 22 years of age as of this writing, Ms. Osaka is still certain to be a major player in the 2020s.

Ms. Osaka's style is known to be very aggressive on the court, and his know for her raw-powered forehand and serve.  Off the court, she's actually quite shy.

Ms. Osaka - who was born in Osaka - gets her exotic looks from her Japanese mother and her Haitian father.
