We're not having the Olympics this year thanks to that damn virus, nor are tennis fans going to have Wimbledon, which usually happens at this time of year - maybe we'll have all that next year - and even though I had already planned, before COVID-19, to have a fifth series of beautiful women in sports on this blog for the month of July 2020, I suppose this series is going to be a consolation prize of sorts in place of the Olympics, or most other sporting events.
I can't say any more than that. So why don't we just get on with it? The first post in this series is tomorrow.
