Nadja Auermann is one of the many drop-dead gorgeous models who come from Germany.
She was discovered in a café in Belrin and found herself modeling through the Karin agency in Paris. She quickly established herself as one of the most impressive catwalkers in the fashion business, taking command of the runways for, among other designers, Thierry Mugler, Chloé, Givenchy, Gianfranco Ferré, Christian Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent. (The photo above is of Ms. Auermann in a Yves Saint Luarent ensemble.)
Ms. Auermann has done advertising campaigns for Prada, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, and countless others. She scored a major coup in September 1994, when she appeared on the cover of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar simultaneously.
Among the many photographers Ms. Auermann has worked with is the late Peter Lindbergh, who died in 2019. He once declared that she was his muse. As a supermodel, you can't get any more "super" than that.
