Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio

Alessandra Ambrosio is yet another one of many stunning models from Brazil.

She got her start competing in an Elite Model Look contest in her country, which led to an assignment for the cover of the Brazilian edition of Elle.  That in turn led to work in ad campaigns for  Gucci,  Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, and American department stores such as Macy's and  Saks Fifth Avenue.  Her magazine cover credits include CosmopolitanHarper's Bazaar, and Marie Claire.  And in 2006, when Glamour in the United States opted for actresses on its cover, Aleesandra Ambrosio was the only exception (for the May issue).

Acting?  While Ms. Ambrosio has had a minor role in the Daddy's Home franchise and played a model in the Brazilian telenovela "Verdades Secretas" ("Secret Truths"), she has also appeared on television as a talent-show judge.  She, along with fellow Brazilian model Adriana Lima, also offered color commentary on Brazilian food and culture as part of NBC's coverage of the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Ms. Ambrosio is good at gigs like that.  She could very well become the Brazilian Roshumba Williams . . . if she isn't already. :- )
