The Beauty of Retrospect, April Model Edition: Alda Balestra

Even with all of the photos of Italian model Alda Balestra that I've posted here before (my last post of her was in March 2015), there are still plenty from her impressive portfolio to feature here.

The above photo is, I believe from a L'Oreal ad campaign, and she did indeed appear in many such ads for the French cosmetics company.  But she also found time to model for clients in her homeland, such as designer Gianfranco Ferré, as evidenced below.

As noted when I first featured her, Alda Balestra is a public relations consultant in Berlin now, as well as the wife of Claus von Stauffenberg and a leading figure in the German capital's social and cultural life.  Below is a more recent picture of her, from 2009.
