Isabella Boylston is a recently minted star of the American Ballet Theatre.
She joined the troupe's studio company in 2005, joining the main company's corps de ballet in March 2007. She was promoted to principal dancer in August 2014.
Among the roles Ms. Boylston has dance at the American Ballet Theatre are Gamzatti in La Bayadère, Aurora in Coppélia, the Princess in The Nutcracker, and Lescaut's Mistress in Manon.
Ms. Boylston is the 2009 recipient of the Princess Grace Award, and she won the Clive Barnes Award in 2011.
