Actress Katheryn Winnick

 Katheryn Winnick is a Canadian actress known for major roles on two shows on American television.

She played Lagertha, the first wife of a Viking chieftain, in "Vikings," an historical drama based on the Norse sagas.  Lagertha eventually rises to become a Viking queen.  Her character is based on a Norse matriarch from the sagas.  The series ran on the History Channel rm 2013 to 2020.

She also starred in the ABC crime series "Big Sky" as Jenny Hoyt, a former police detective in Montana who does freelance work for her husband's detective agency despite being separated from him, though she does return to police words as a deputy detective in a county sheriff's office.  She played that role for the series' entire run, from 2020 to 2023.

Ms. Winick has also starred in a few movies, most notably 2012's A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III, as the girlfriend of the title character (she dumps him and upsets his life), and 2013's The Art of the Steal, as the girlfriend of an art thief who ends up in jail thanks to a botched heist.  And Katheryn Winnick certainly looks lovely enough to play girlfriends. 😃 

Fun fact: Being of Ukrainian descent, Ms. Winnick and her mother started a charted to raise fund for people's needs in Ukraine following the 2022 Russian invasion.
