TV reporter Rylee Carlson

Rylee Carlson is a Canadian broadcast journalist who's probably better known to Americans than many of her peers.

She's a London-based correspondent for CBS News, reporting on breaking stories from the United Kingdom and reporting news from elsewhere around the world.

She's not a CBS employee, directly.  She's a freelancer who has worked for CNN and the BBC since 2016.  Before that, she was an anchorwoman and reporter in Canada first for Global Television from 2010 to 2012 and CTV News (for which she still contributes reports) from 2012 to 2015.  She got her start at local station CHAT-TV in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Ms. Carlson is proud of being so well-traveled.  "I haven't been everywhere," she wrote on her Twitter-page description, "but it's on my list." :-)
