TV newswoman Emily Riemer

Emily Riemer is a well-known TV anchor and reporter in Boston.

She co-anchors the early-prime newscasts at four o'clock and five o'clock on WCVB-TV, Boston's ABC affiliate. She also serves as the station's reporter on medical stories.

Of course, her career is more than just reporting on medicine and health care.  She also has covered public affairs stories and election campaigns.  She had left WCVB after in May 2013 a two-year stint as a weekend morning co-anchor, but she returned to WCVB a little over a year after leaving.

Ms. Riemer, a native of Massachusetts, got her start in Ohio, working as a political reporter at  WSYX-TV and its sister station WTTE-TV in Columbus.  She got an exclusive interview with Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann just before he resigned in a sex scandal.
