CNBC reporter Diana Olick

Diana Olick is in real estate.

No, she's not a developer like Trump. She covers the real estate makret for the Consumer News and Business Channel, better known as CNBC.

Ms. Olick worked at several local-news broadcasts before joining CBS News in 1994, including stints as a reporter at stations such as WABI-TV in Bangor, Maine, WZZM-TV in Grand Rapids, and KIRO-TV in Seattle. As a CBS reporter, she spent a lot of time covering Washington, D.C., major court trials (such as the trial of Oklahoma City bombing accomplice Terry Nichols), and foreign stories like the Kosovo War.

At CNBC, Ms. Olick writes on the Realty Check section of the channel's Web site and contributes real-estate news features to other NBC News programs, such as the nightly newscast and "Today."

Ms. Olick did her undergraduate work Columbia College in New York and earned a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism.
