Xuan Cheng is originally from the Chinese province of Hunan, but these days she's making a name for herself on this side of the Pacific Rim. :-)
Starting out as a principal dancer for the Guangzhou Ballet in her native China, she made her way to Montréal, where she danced for La La La Human Steps and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. She has been a principal dancer for the Oregon Ballet since 2011, with major principal roles in Giselle, Cinderella, and Swan Lake.
