It is with sadness that I must acknowledge a one-time honoree on this blog - journalist Gwen Ifill, whom I featured here in May 2007. She was a pioneering print reporter and news broadcaster, having written for the New York Times and hosted to public-television news programs, "The PBS Newshour" and "Washington Week In Review." I have written a more proper eulogy for her on my other blog. While the post featuring Ms. Ifill on this blog will remain, I, in accordance with my self-imposed rule against showing deceased women here, will not feature Ms. Ifill going forward. RIP. :-(
