The Beauty of Retrospect: Nancy Donahue Week, Part Three

If you thought Nancy Donahue look hot in catalog photos, then you can imagine how hot she looks in photos for more glamorous assignments.  Actually, you don't have to imagine it - just look at the photos I have right here! :-D   

The top photo is from the September 1979 issue of U.S. Vogue , photographed by John Stember for an editorial titled, "American Style: It Gives You the Most!"  (It sure does.  :-) )  The bottom photo is from a Helena Rubinstein ad.

Specifically, it's an ad for Silken lipstick.  And the Helena Rubenstein brand was and remains one of the most exclusive cosmetics brands in the beauty business.  For Nancy Donahue or any other model, a Helena Rubinstein ad in one's portfolio is the proverbial feather in the cap.
