Paula Patton is a movie actress whose first break came relatively late in her career. She had a small role in the 2005 comedy movie Hitch, which starred Eva Mendes (an earlier honoree on this blog) and Will Smith. Her most widely noted roles have been as Claire Kuchever, a woman whom a federal agent tries to save from being killed after she's been killed by going back in time, in the 2006 science-fiction thriller Déjà Vu, and as a teacher at an alternative high school in Harlem who works with disadvantaged students in 2009's Precious.
For nearly nine years, Paula Patton was comedian Alan Thicke's daughter-in-law, having been married to his son, pop singer Robin Thicke, whom she'd been dating since 1991. The couple separated early in 2014. They sired a son, Julian, in 2010.
Paula Patton owes her exotic looks to her black father and white mother.
