The Beauty of Sport, Part Three: Tennis player Caroline Wozniacki

Caroline Wozniacki has been a major presence in women's tennis since 2005.

She has won 21 Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles titles as of October 2013, and she has two WTA doubles titles. A women's Grand Slam title has eluded her, though, but, seeing as she only turns 24 in July 2014, her best years are hardly behind her.

Caroline Wozniacki is also very much a citizen of the world. Born in Denmark to Polish immigrant parents and raised there as well, she lives in Monte Carlo and loves English soccer. :-)

Postscript: This post was prepared a few weeks in advance.  Given the fact that her fiancĂ©, golfer Rory McIlroy, broke off their engagement on short notice a week before this was posted (while the wedding invitations were being prepared!), some of you might think it's inappropriate for me to feature Caroline Wozniacki now.  On the contrary: I definitely believe that it's not only appropriate, but de rigeur.  I want to demonstrate that, while Rory McIlroy might bail out on her, I certainly won't.
