As many of you know, Rosie Vela is a talented musician, and she put out an album in 1986 (ZaZu) with a little help from her friends, Walter Becker and Donald Fagen of Steely Dan. Although Whitney Houston was the model-turned-singer who got the big musical career in the 1980s, Rosie left as an indelible impression on the ears as she did - and does - on the eyes. :-)
