Tisha Powell is an anchorwoman for WTVD-TV, the ABC affiliate in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, where she anchors the 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM and 11:00 PM editions of the news.

Originally from Louisiana and a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans, Ms. Powell worked as a reporter or an anchor at many different television stations in the South, including WDSU-TV in New Orleans, before joining WTVD-TV in 2004.
