Catherine Deneuve: France's Greatest Film Star!

Behold, France's greatest contribution to Western civilization since Impressionist art. . . movie actress Catherine Deneuve! :-D

Catherine Deneuve has appeared in some of the greatest French movies of the past forty-five years. The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, an operatic love story from 1964, was her first international hit, followed by Belle De Jour, The Last Metro, My Favorite Season, and Place Vendome, and that's just a partial list!

Likened to the late Grace Kelly for her cool, seemingly icy demeanor, Catherine Deneuve has employed her classic looks to great effect, giving some of the most enigmatic and intense performances in French cinema. :-)

This particular picture of Mademoiselle Deneuve dates back to 1978.
