Jane McNeill is a latecomer to acting.
The North Carolina native, long interested in in theater since childhood, taught drama in the Chicago area before returning to her home state and working in a company's personnel office. She auditioned for a small role in the TV series "The Walking Dead," when she was 45 years old, and got the part. Soon, she was filming a movie - Hornet's Nest, a cable TV movie based on the Patricia Cornwell novel of that title.
Ms. McNeill has made a career of playing supporting roles in movies and television.
