Model Cathy Fedoruk

Cathy Fedoruk didn't plan on becoming a model.

Ms. Fedoruk, originally from the Canadian province of British Columbia, had planned on going to college and found modeling to be a superficial career.  But she eventually changed her mind because she was drawn to modeling by the "adventure" of it.  That is, being a model afforded her the opportunity to travel.

And while she did numerous covers and editorials for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and other magazines,  she also got to go to exotic locales such as Egypt and Seychelles for assignments.  Wherever she went, she would play tourist and check out the local attractions.

Today, Cathy Fedoruk is a wife and mother, but she's hardly given up her passion for travel; she's become a travel writer.  She's also penned short stories, having earned a degree in creative writing and literature from New York University.

She's certainly had a lot of adventures. 😊
