Actress Lily Rabe

Lily Rabe comes from thespian royalty.  She's the daughter of playwright Michael Rabe and actress Jill Clayburgh.


She's best known for playing multiple roles in the horror anthology TV series "American Horror Story," but she's done several movies as well, usually playing historical figures.  Among Ms. Rabe's acting credits include 2010's All Good Things, in which she played character based n real-life mob daughter Susan Berman (who was murdered by a gangster) and 2014's Pawn Sacrifice, about chess champion Bobby Fischer (she played his sister Joan).

Ms. Rabe's penchant for playing historical figures and her constant appearances in the American Horror Story franchise intersected in 2021, when she played aviator Amelia Earhart in "American Horror Story: Double Feature."

Ms. Rabe did get to live every actor's dream by performing in a Shakespeare production: a 2017 movie version of A Midsummer Night's Dream, set in modern Los Angeles,  She played Helena, who is in love with Demetrius.
