Iyana Halley is an actress who has been a presence on TV of late.
She plays Taylor Howard on the ABC sitcom "Abbott Elementary." As the daughter of kindergarten teacher Barbara Howard (played by Sheryl Lee Ralph), Taylor dates a first-grade teacher but doesn't want to be a teacher herself despite her mother's wishes.
Ms. Halley has also appeared in the 2023 TV movie Black Girl Missing, a drama about a problem that is way too underreported in the United States. She also had a small role in the movie Licorice Pizza.
