Janet Landgard is an actress who was active in the 1960s and 1970s but has since retreated into obscurity.
She's best known for playing Karen on Donna Reed's eponymous sitcom, but she also appeared the cult classic The Swimmer, about a self-assured suburbanite (played by Burt Lancaster) which was based on a short story by John Cheever. She also had a supporting role in a 1970 Western, Land Raiders, which didn't get much attention at the tie because the seventies were not a good time for Westerns.
Ms. Landgard retired from acting in 1974, when she was only 27.
