Once again, I'm spending the entire month, this July, on looks back at models I've previously featured before on this blog, with a focus on one model each week. And on July 31, I will finish with a post showing more example of each woman to cap it all off.
The four women I've selected for this month of retrospectives are all woman I haven't featured in awhile and who deserve more recognition than I - or others, for that matter - have already given them. First is Shaun Casey, the Connecticut-born model who supplemented Karen Graham as a face of the Estée Lauder cosmetics company in the former half of the 1980s. Second is Claudia Cron, another Connecticut girl who grew up to be another Lauder face - but for the Lauder company's Prescriptives beauty brand. (This retrospective is long overdue.) After that, we take a week-long look at Christine "Chris" Royer, one of the few women who was a Halstonette - a model and muse for the designer Halston. Finally, we close with Tara Shannon, known as the woman of a thousand faces for her ability to change her look constantly - though I will not be showing a thousand pictures of her, as I only have a week. 😃
Back soon with my first post.
