Caroline Danjuma is a star of "Nollywood" - the colloquial term for the Nigerian motion picture industry.
Born in the Nigerian city of Maiduguri, Ms. Danjuma, born Caroline Ekanem (Danjuma is her married name) started out as a young ingénue in the 2004 movie Deadly Care. She quickly gained experience in a slew of films released over the next couple of years, including 2004's Deadly Kiss and Missing Angel and 2006's The Captor.
Other Nollywood movies Ms. Danjuma has starred include Foreign Affairs, Real Love, A Second Time, The Beast and the Angel, and Stalker.
Ms. Danjuna has also been recognized for her charity work in Nigeria, such as her advocacy programs centered around helping young people.
She gets her exotic looks from her Scottish father and Nigerian mother.
