Courtney Pena is a lifestyle reporter based in Las Vegas.
She hosts "Las Vegas NOW," a locally produced series chronicling entertainment and lifestyle news from the city that, whatever happens there, stays there. Of course, it airs locally - on KLAS-TV, Las Vegas' CBS affiliate.
Ms. Perna won an Emmy for Best On-Camera Talent for my role on "Las Vegas NOW." She gained her entertainment-news show experience from hosting "The Morning Blend," a morning program on WFTX-TV in Fort Myers, Florida.
She has experience in covering more substantial news on TV as a reporter for WLNS-TV in Lansing Michigan and she produced the 10:00 news report at WXMI-TV in nearby Grand Rapids. Ms. Perna is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Fun fact: While in college, Ms. Perna was a student reporter for CNN.
