Michelle Monaghan has appeared in numerous movies and TV shows since the turn of millennium.
Her movies include the Farrelly Brothers' 2007 remake of The Heartbreak Kid, as well as 2007's Gone Baby Gone (which also featured Amy Ryan, an earlier honoree on this blog), Ben Affleck's directorial debut, about two private detectives looking for a young girl abducted from her single mother's apartment Boston's Dorchester section (Ms. Monaghan played one detective and Ben Affleck's brother Casey plays the other) detective, 2008's Eagle Eye, in which she played one of two strangers who must go on the run together after each receiving a mysterious phone call from an unknown woman tracking them with communications technology, and the indie movie Trucker, a 2008 movie in which she played a long-haul truck driver suddenly having to take care of her son after her ex-husband discovers he has cancer.
Ms. Monaghan also had a recurring role in "Boston Public," a TV dream about a public high school in Boston, as teacher Kimberly Woods.
