British actress Naomi Scott

Naomi Scott is a young British actress who gets her exotic looks from her white father and her Indian Gujarati mother.  And she has gotten her success from her association with Disney.

She first gained notoriety as Maddy Shannon in the short-lived 2011 science-fiction American series "Terra Nova," about a family living in a colony in 85,000,000 B.C., after having escaped a dystopian civilization in the middle of the twenty-second century.  That same time, she starred in the Disney TV movie Lemonade Mouth, about a group of troubled high-school students who form a band in detention and support each other.

Ms. Scott's biggest role, however, was as Princess Jasmine in the 2019 live-action version of the Disney film Aladdin, which was a huge hit.  It's safe to say that there are more huge hits in Naomi Scott's career.

Ms. Scott is also a singer, having released two extended players and a few singles, including songs such as "Motions" and "Lover's Lies."
