Caitlin McGee is an actress who is a relative newcomer at 33 years of age. She only began to take an acting career seriously more recently.
She got her first big break by playing Liz Brosniak, a pregnant woman, in the ABC hospital drama "Grey's Anatomy." Liz is a patient at the hospital who is afflicted with a connective tissue disorder, and she already has a child with a tumor causing an unnatural-sounding laugh.
All heavy stuff, which enabled Ms. Gee to get a leading role in a legal drama NBC's "Bluff City Law," in which she played Memphis attorney Sydney Strait. She and her father (played by the great Jimmy Smits) handled civil rights cases. It was canceled in 2019 after one season; apparently, the real thing was more dramatic than fiction.
Caitlin McGee is still young, though, and it shouldn't be long before she finds a successful TV series.
