The Beauty of Retrospect: Nancy Donahue and Sheila Johnson

I have a couple of posts looking back at models I've featured before, before I start a new year with new subjects, to finish out the month of September.  Today I have a two-fer: Nancy Donahue and Sheila Johnson, together in an advertising photo from the early eighties.

Despite the grains and spices before them, this photo is not from a food advertisement but from, in fact, an Avon catalog.  I think it was meant to emphasize the natural ingredients in Avon products.

I love the soft, innocent expressions on their faces here . . . their ability to project such sweetness and warmth.  That was the reason I was always swooning over both Nancy Donahue and Sheila Johnson back in the day. Come to think of it, they still make me swoon. :-)
