For the longest time, Michelle Roberts reported for local news in many markets.
She started out as an anchor and producer for KGWN-TV in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a CBS affiliate, but she later worked at NBC stations.
For seven years beginning in 2010, Ms. Roberts worked as an anchor and/or reporter for no fewer than three NBC television affiliates, two of them in California. She was at KSEE-TV in Fresno from 2010 to 2012 and KNTV-TV in the San Francisco Bay area from 2014 to 2017. In between, she was a reporter and producer on NBC's Boston affiliate.
You won't find Michelle Roberts reporting for anyone these days. She quit broadcast journalism to join Salesforce, a customer relationship management (CRM) firm. CRM, for the uninitiated, is a form of technology used by companies to manage its relationships and interactions with existing and potential customers.
In the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Michelle Roberts is arguably doing work just as vital as news reporting.
