German actress Emilia Schüle

Emilia Schüle is a wünderkindfrau in German cinema and television.

Born in 1992 in post-Soviet Russia to a German family, Frau Schüle began acting professionally as a teenager, appearing in television commercials and playing roles in television movies such as Guten Morgen, Herr Grothe (Good Morning, Mr. Grothe) and in TV shows such as "Meine wunderbare Familie" ("My Wonderful Family").

Her big break came in 2008 when, at sixteen, she starred in Freche Mädchen, a movie about the lives and friendships of three teenage girls, and she eventually appeared in the sequel, Freche Mädchen 2. Her role as Sophie in the 2009 movie Gangs solidified her place as one of Germany's hottest young actresses.

Frau Schüle has been in numerous TV and cinematic productions over the past decade.  Americans know her best as Lena Ganz, the daughter of a German right-wing extremist, in the TV series "Berlin Station."
