Teenage boys in the early 1980s who loved brunettes daydreamed constantly about Carol Alt the way teenage boys in the early 1980s who loved blondes daydreamed constantly about Kim Alexis od Christie Brinkley. And then there were those of us who didn't give a twit about hair color and daydreamed constantly about all of them. And if there were some teenage boys who, like the gentlemen they weren't (it was the early 1980s, remember - guys who listened to Rush - the band, that is - and dreamed of owning a GTI or a Trans Am had no time for gentlemanly behavior), preferred blondes, well, they'd likely have made an exception for Carol Alt if they saw her in this!
Lord have mercy, is that dress made of leather???
We're getting into Suzi Quatro territory here.
But then, Carol Alt was such a great beauty that she could look great in anything. And because she was (and always will be) a great model, she could both look like the girl you don't take home to your mother (unless she was one of those cool moms who loved "Can the Can") . . .
. . . and look like the girl with a face a mother could love. The softer, girl-next-door pose above is from 1982.
See what eating raw food, as Carol Alt is known for, does? :-D
