Her surname is Armstrong, and she's a cyclist, but she's not related to the disgraced Lance Armstrong (and she's not to be confused with his ex-wife, also named Kristin).
Kristin Armstrong is, in fact, one of the greatest time-trial racers in women's cycling, and she has the wins to prove it.
She won the Olympic gold medal in the women's time-trial thrice in a row - in 2008 at Beijing, in 2012 in London , and in 2016 Rio de Janeiro.
Ms. Armstrong also won two UCI Road World Championship gold medals, at Salzburg, Austria in 2006 and at Mendrisio, Switzerland in 2009.
