Originally from the Venezuelan capital of Caracas, Francesca Dugarte is turning heads in the capital of the United States as a member of the Washington Ballet's company.
She danced in various companies all over the world before arriving in D.C., and she earned a first-place award in Korea’s International Ballet Competition. Ms. Dugarte's repertoire includes roles in The Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, La Sylphide, and Diana & Acteon, among other ballets.
Fun fact: She was a contestant on the Italian talent show "Amici di Maria de Fillippi." :-)
