I first featured Carmelita Jeter in August 2012, when she won gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the 4×100-meter relay, 100-meter, and 200-meter foot races at the 2012 London Olympics.
Unfortunately, she had to tend to an injury to her left quadriceps, and she thus withdrew from the 2016 Olympics trials. At 36 years of age as of this writing, Ms. Jeter is not likely to make a comeback in the 2020 Tokyo Games, but I hope she is still doing well.
And she did win silver in the 4x100-meter relay at the 2015 IAAF World Relay Championships in Nassau.
