JoBeth Williams had already been in a few soap operas and movies when she broke through in the early eighties with Poltergeist and The Big Chill.
More recently, she has been in Fever Pitch, about the Red Sox's first World Series championship in 86 years.

Jobeth Williams is so wonderful, i just love her in "Poltergeist". Beatrice Straight was very beautiful, lovely and talented just like her in that same movie. My aunt Maria looked a lot with Jobeth when she was Young. Jobeth is just marvelous. Tessa, the little and cute actress who played the daughter of Jennifer Lopez in "Enough" looks a lot with Jobeth too.
Jobeth Williams is so beautiful, adorable and talented. She is a brunette Lindsay Wagner and also a perfect mix of Jaclyn Smith with Natalie Wood. I love her so much, she is absolutely marvelous, wonderful.
