Diane Lane first received notoriety as a child actress at the age of 14 in A Little Romance, in 1979. She spent much of the eighties, however, as just another young Hollywood ingénue. But when she matured, so did her career.
In this past decade alone, Lane has starred in movies such as Unfaithful (for which she received several award nominations, despite the movie's mixed reviews), Under the Tuscan Sun, Hollywoodland (about the mysterious death of George Reeves), and Nights In Rodanthe.
She is currently married to actor Josh Brolin.
