This post is more sorrowful than celebratory.
Whitney Houston was always a beautiful woman, even if her incredible voice was commercialized to the point of artistic irrelevance. But in more recent years, she's seen her career - and her beauty - ravaged by drugs, thanks largely to her marriage to Bobby Brown. Now that she's left him behind, we can only hope that she regains her career and also gives herself something meaningful to say with her vocal talent.
